Addressable: The call point is connected to and monitored by a fire alarm control panel, providing the exact location of the alarm trigger.

Resettable element: Unlike traditional “break glass” call points, the S4-34845 uses a flexible element that can be reset with a special key after an alarm is triggered, without needing to replace any parts.

Protective cover: A hinged, lift-up protective cover prevents accidental or malicious activation of the alarm.

Built-in isolator: The unit includes a built-in short-circuit isolator to ensure loop integrity in the event of a wiring fault.

Installation and usage

Compatibility: The S4-34845 is designed exclusively for use with Gent’s Vigilon and Nano fire alarm control panels.

Resetting: To reset the call point after activation, a test key is inserted into a keyhole under the protective cover. Turning the key will return the call point to a normal, un-alarmed state.

Testing: A test key is also used for routine testing to simulate an alarm and ensure correct operation.
