- A 380kg magnetic lock is an electromechanical device for access control, providing a holding force of up to 380kg (800lbs) by creating a powerful magnetic bond between an electromagnet and a steel armature plate. A bracket is a mounting accessory used to properly align and install the lock and plate on different door types, such as an “L” bracket for an inward swinging door or a “ZL” bracket for an outward swinging door, to create a secure locking mechanism for commercial, office, or building entrances and exits.
